A typical mercenary, Rogan tends to go where the credits are and sells his loyalty to the highest bidder. However, he sells his services as hired protection and is not without morality- while he has no qualms about killing on the job or in self-defense, he refuses to accept any form of assassination contract.

Rogan first entered the business from falling in with a group of small-time smugglers in school. When their business expanded, he acted as their muscle until they grew too large and attracted the attention of a pirate band who competed with them for cargo. The pirates eliminated the entire group except for Rogan, who betrayed his fellows and joined with the pirates' crew. From then on, Rogan had worked on various crews for various employers, including a short run with the Blue Suns.
