CrystylCloud is - at it's core - a creative writing and fanfiction site dedicated to content written almost exclusively for EU (Expanded Universe) settings from established franchises. That's not to say we wouldn't support original worldbuilding - and in fact have done in the past - it just isn't something that has ever evolved with our current contributors!

Important as actual stories are, a big part of the creative process is the worldbuilding itself. So a great deal of the content we host is made up of the EU lore associated with our story content.

Anybody can contribute on CC! Whether you want to write content for an already supported franchise in our existing EU, or create your own. If you want to create something entirely unique or content for a franchise not currently hosted. It is all good and it is all welcome!

In addition to being home to a number of substantial stories and concepts, we like to support our contributors in every possible. To this end, CC also aims to provide quick and easy access to a plethora of useful reference tools - both internally and externally - to help our contributors get their details just as they want them.

"I established CC in 2019 to provide a more versatile home for our ever expanding ST:TTV (Through the Valley) content. This transition was postponed while other projects were ongoing, but was completed in 2023 which makes us now completely independent! It is a shame that we have to lose our old home which had stood since 2012 and over a decade's worth of history on our content, but we have evolved a lot in that 10+ years now so it is also nice and exciting to be setting up a new home which we hope to see many of our old friends joining us at!"
