BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Tareef was born to a traditional muslim family in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and grew up hearing stories of Arab nomads and traders long ago. Mesmerized by these tales Tareef sought to also travel around, but across the solar system. This dream turned into a dream to travel around the galaxy once the Mass Effect relays were found, and when he became 18 he joined the newly formed Systems Alliance. During the First Contact war he earned high marks and showed himself to be an expert tactician.

Following increasing tensions with the Batarians, the Systems Alliance created a special ops task force for acquiring assets that would give humanity and edge and catch it up with the other races of the galaxy, so Task Force Zeta was created. Due to his experience as a strategist after the First Contact War Tareef was chosen to lead Task Force Zeta. After the crash of the SSV Havana, the Systems Alliance has decided to deploy Task Force Zeta to Cybele in order to assist with the acquisition of Prothean technologies.
