BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS
T'Pia was born under extenuating circumstances to Captain Keelah Se'Lai of the USS Valley Forge as the result of a medical misunderstanding during first contact with the Koans. Complications arising from her alien DNA led to T'Pia's continued growth in intermittent spurts until at the literal age of 3 weeks, her accelerated growth finally halted at the estimated physical age of 16. Her lack of development through the natural of gain of memories and life experiences has - to date - been successfully augmented by a series of mind melds conducted by her mother. Utilizing their natural telepathic link between mother & child; Captain Se'Lai was successful in imprinting an impression of her own life experiences upon T'Pia.
