BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS
HK-X1 is a modified Seneschal-series droid equipped with the programming of the lethal HK-49 assassin. The HK models, originally created to resemble protocol units and avoid attention, eventually grew into a symbol of fear and combat prowess, making the droids lose the edge of anonymity. As a result, Kelly Haron created this prototype as a 'modern' assassin. However, due to Haron Inc. not holding the rights to the Seneschal-series or the HK programming, this is the only variant to date as the model cannot be legally mass produced.
While appearing as a Seneschal-series unit on the surface, HK-X1 actually contains numerous upgrades. His chassis is significantly stronger, on par with that of humanoid battle droids, and can be equipped with an energy shield to further his durability. His joints have been slightly altered as to allow for further maneuverability and his legs are also sturdier and reinforced with pneumatic systems which allow his kicks to easily shatter bone. Hidden within both his wrists are vibroblades that can be extended from his palm for a quick and subtle assassination, or removed completely for melee combat. HK-X1 sensory systems are far superior than that of a protocol droid and also utilizes several components found in Czerka's HK models.
