BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Oshiro Asuna is a member of the Oshiro family, a well-known name within the Federation medical community. Naturally, Asuna was raised to become a prominent researcher in the field. With a combination of extensive tutelage and considerable talent, Asuna was accepted into some of the finest medical science schools where she continued to excel. However, despite completing medical residency and a doctoral degree, her grandfather Hitoshi refused to allow her into the Oshiro Organization where he was sits as a part of the Board of Directors. Hitoshi determined that she was too sheltered from the galaxy outside scientific circles and was adamant that she serve as a doctor in Starfleet as he did in his youth. Asuna then enrolled in Starfleet Academy and graduated in 2417 as a medical officer with the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade.
