Leonard grew up in as an oprhan and since he was a problem child he was never adopted and so when he got older he joined a minor merc group in one who was hired to protect a druglord and it during this mission he met Blackwatch he would join since the Blackwatch Leader Amari found his skills with quite good for a person who did not have any military training. but it would be in the years to follow where he would grow jealous of new members since he would never get to lead any part of the team and so he made during the first contact war he found out about someone called the shadowbroker and came into contact with one of his agents and got them to tip off the turians about Jackie trying to rescue the people who had been captured by the Turians. and when blackwatch later fell he got in contact with the same shadowbroker agent and who got him in contact with the new merc group Blue suns which joined.
