BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS

Enelya grew up as something of a celebrity in her childhood home of Little Lamplight; a child-only settlement found in the Capital Wasteland. Though always a quiet child, she was ever curious and so one day when she was exploring the deeper caverns she inevitably found herself having to defend against a creature of the wasteland. At the tender age of 7 she developed this fame among the Lamplighters after killing a molerat with a 'blade as big as her arm' - earning her the nickname 'Machete'. Despite this fame, she did not petition for Mayor of Little Lamplight and settled into a proud life defending their home from the wasteland. At the age of 16 she did not think twice about the inevitable departure from her childhood home and actually left quietly under the cover of darkness the night before she was due to leave, but not before congratulating her childhood friend MacCready on becoming Mayor.

Her expedition to Big Town was unduly interrupted after she got ambushed by a group of raiders however. So her fellow grown up Lamplighters at Big Town never got to reunite with their childhood hero, instead only living in reverence of the memory of the mighty Machete whose fate would forever remain a mystery. It is of course no mystery to Enelya herself; as the raider group moved on her makeshift camp, so did a military patrol move on the raiders. The patrol turned out to be a scouting party from the mercenary band - The Gunners - and Enelya immediately found in that moment; the same reverence her fellow Lamplighters had looked at her with. After convincing the patrol that she could hold her own, they took her back to their CO who recruited the young Enelya and started her formal training.

By the early 2280's Enelya had become a fierce squad leader within the Gunners, having demonstrated her skill in various combat arts and shown a naturally affinity for leading the troops - leading a number of successful campaigns from the Capital Wasteland, to New York, to the Commonwealth. It was some point during this tour of the Commonwealth that saw Enelya fall out of favour with the Gunners, however the reasons are not yet public knowledge. All that is currently known is that the Gunners have since arrived in the region en masse, and every camp has open orders to bring Enelya in - or down - depending on who you ask...
