Eagek
An advanced Avian species, the Eagek reportedly count among those species who - whilst possessing the capacity for interstellar travel - prefer to remain isolated to their homeworld. When first encountered by Starfleet, Eagek culture appeared to be largely centralized around deity worship; unusually so for a species this advanced. Temple priests are prominent figures within Eagek culture and wield powerful stave which are both capable of projecting defensive shielding or emitting widespread energy discharges for offense. Known to centralize around the worship of multiple deities - each representing different aspects - the Eagek religion is believed to be so prominent due to the frequent direct interaction by Species 2501; the non-corporeal lifeforms who came to be worshipped in this manner by the ancient Eagek.
