BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS
Learning from an early age of her magical power, Crystyl grew up feeling that she had been denied by the Nine - tormented by her powerful skill being offset by a curse of her being born under the Atronach, meaning that her magicka did not regenerate naturally as it did for others. She learned to offset this to a degree with a trained focus on absorption magic which allowed her to consume the magicka behind spells cast upon her. Still however this was not enough and so she turned to the dark arts of necromancy where she found her true calling.
Though never directly connected to anything; Crystyl's reported presence throughout the ages has placed her within coincidental reach of key events around Tamriel including the Warp in the West of 3E 394, the death of Dagoth Ur at the Red Mountain in 3E 427, the Oblivion crisis of 3E 433 and the death of High Chancellor Ocato in 4E 10. This of course purely a noted presence and there is nothing to even suggest she had any involvement in these or other events, though it is easy for the common folk to draw such conclusions when in reference to necromancers and other practitioners of the dark arts.
Little more than whispers are actually known of the elusive necromancer. Though rumours speak of a closely associated jet black crow never far from her - and so - for those who live in fear of the necromancy arts, the shrill squawk of a crow will naturally send a shiver down the spine. Or, unnaturally as the case may indeed be...
