BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS
Asa, often called the Wild Maiden or Asa the Wild by those who do know her name, is a Nord hunter who has lived on her own in the wilderness of Skyrim for much of her life. She was not always this way, originally hailing from Markarth. She was born in the stone city and given the name of Asa by her parents, but she remembered little else about them save that they were killed long ago in an incident related to the Reachmen. She grew up an orphan in Markarth, resorting to begging and petty thievery to survive. As she neared adolescence she began to steal more and more, and the guards drove her out of the city.
From that point onward, Asa left civilized life behind, choosing to live off the land. In the towns where she is welcome, she would surface from time to time, selling goods she had gathered from hunting and other activities in the wild. Save a dislike of Reachmen who killed her parents, she cares little for the politics of the world, willing to trade with anyone who would trade with her, including travelers and bandits. However, those who do conduct business with Asa often go months or years without a word from her, and her wanderings through Skyrim seem to take her wherever is convenient for her to survive.
